YouTubers find $ 100,000 in retro videogames in an abandoned house
While there are physical media, there will always be a market for retro videogames, and the couple behind the YouTube Canal Barato Find Golden Mines, knows this very well. Duo Aimee and Korbin recently filmed a series of three parts where they reviewed an abandoned house full of old videogames! The two focused predominantly on sealed games during exploration, and found some incredible titles, which include The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker , Resident Evil , and f-Zero GX in Gamecube, Mundos de Tetris and Star Wars: Cazarens in PlayStation 2, Taxi Loco in Sega Dreamcast, tons of Xbox games and much more.
The games sold so far totaled $ 100,000, with Aimee and Korbin obtaining $ 20,000, and the rest was divided among other resellers. It is worth noting that many games continue to be sold, so the duo can do much more with your find! While this is an incredible discovery, it was not achieved without a little effort. The duo affirmed that the house was not what we expected, and that is obvious in the videos! When they arrived at the house, they did not wear clothes that offered them a lot of protection, but they did not want to return and risk losing what they found. Aimee and Korbin found cockroaches, a brown inmate spider (which bit Aimee), and korbin contracened scabies on his leg. However, the games they got were worth it! The third video, in which the team specifically detales the sales of the game, can be found embedded below.
For those interested in collecting retro games, it s worth watching the videos! There is something really surprising to see these sealed games and know that many will go to good homes. The abandoned house belonged to a collector who became ill in 2019 and the relatives of him needed to clean up the house. In the second video, her niece Stephanie details the process behind the cleanliness and hopes that some good people get good things . Aimee and Korbin apparently found out from the house thanks to a data from a spectator.
One of the most amazing things in the series of videos is the fact that Aimee and Korbin rejected enough games, mostly those who were already open! This house had an incredible collection, that Korbin calls on the top video a lifelong business . It seems that many players would agree!
